Voici son r\u00e9cit divertissant de la formation.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>\u00ab Le 29 f\u00e9vrier R.V au col de Bretaye sur Villars pour le cours. Apr\u00e8s 2 heures de th\u00e9ories, nous lestons nos duals de 45kg et d\u00e9part de suite dans la descente sur le Lac Noir. Pas \u00e9vident d&#8217;\u00e9couter mon moniteur, d&#8217;avoir un oeil sur la trajectoire des skieurs nombreux et de g\u00e9rer la conduite avec des patinettes de 140cm aux pieds. Descendre est une chose, remonter une autre : ou je ne mets pas assez de force pour rentrer sur le tapis roulant, ou j&#8217;en mets trop. Toujours quelque chose ne va pas &#8230; Le soir, je me r\u00e9p\u00e8te les manoeuvres manqu\u00e9es. Jour 2, je prends le premier train pour Bretaye, pour me familiariser avec le formel du chargement, avant l&#8217;heure du RV. Jour 3, premi\u00e8re descente, on nous annonce que le t\u00e9l\u00e9si\u00e8ge est ferm\u00e9 \u00e0 cause du vent. Nous poussons les engins pour remonter, avant qu&#8217;un moto-neige nous tracte. Bon \u00e9chauffement, j&#8217;avais eu la bonne id\u00e9e d&#8217;augmenter le lestage ce matin &#8230; L&#8217;apr\u00e8s-midi, pilotage avec une passag\u00e8re, la tension monte d&#8217;un cran, le brouillard et la neige s&#8217;en m\u00eale, temps r\u00eav\u00e9 pour un examen &#8230; \u00bb<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jean-Marc est maintenant pilote qualifi\u00e9 et vous attend avec impatience (ses passagers d\u2019essai aussi) !<\/h4>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator aligncenter\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Meet our first pilot trained just for us!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A grant from the local council of Bagnes enabled us to pay for the training of our own first own pilot, Jean-Marc Farquet, a Verbier legend for his 13 Glacier Patrols. Read here his entertaining account of how he got on in training.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>\u201cFebruary 29 school began at the Col de Bretaye, Villars. After 2 hours of theory, we loaded 45kg onto our dual rigs and set off down the Lac Noir. Not easy trying to simultaneously listen to my instructor, keep an eye on the heavy slope traffic and steer the short little 140cm skis. Downhill was one thing, getting back up, quite another: I either putting too much energy into getting onto the conveyor belt, or too little. Always something out of sync \u2026 That evening I practiced the tricky moves &#8230; Day 2, I took the first train to Bretaye, so I could practice loading before class. Day 3, first run, we were told the chairlift was closed because of high winds. We had to push the rigs uphill until the skimobile arrived to tow us. A most effective warm-up, especially as I had had the great idea of increasing the load that morning \u2026 The pressure was on in the afternoon as I got to pilot a passenger for the first time.
